This life sized steel sculpture is of one of the most interesting animals in the fossil record, the archaeopteryx. Found in Jurassic Germany this animal is believed to be one of the earliest known birds and has attributes of both avian and dinosaurs including wings, a tail and claws. This project was a passion project of ours that we greatly enjoyed working on and makes for an excellent indoor or outdoor ordainment.

In order to properly display outdoors dig a shallow rectangular hole to place the frame. Make sure that the the hole is just deep enough so that the feet of the archaeopteryx are at the level of the surrounding soil, then burry to give the sculpture the appearance that sculpture is standing on its own.
